Vivienne Morris The Director of AES, Vivienne Morris, has been working in the field of teaching, disability and behavioural management for over 30 years. Whilst studying an extension course through UWA in 1976, an opportunity arose for a position within the then named Community Welfare Department of WA, working with families in crisis. This led her to Clontarf Boys’ Home, working with teenage boys with severe learning and behavioural issues. Following this she spent some years working with children with profound physical and/or intellectual deficits before entering the field of autism. After almost 12 years specifically catering to an ABA DTT format, and gaining an unparalleled reputation in her chosen field, Vivienne began working independently. Whilst continuing to work within the early intervention format, she also added to her repertoire older children with a variety of learning, play and social issues including late diagnosed ASD children who previously had had little or no intervention. Eventually this led to AES becoming a formal entity in November 2005. |
